Welcome to March’s first Friday Five! We were hoping to have another project update for you this week, but we were a bit delayed. BUT- our painter just finished an awesome job on a custom wine rack we’ve been working on, so we’ll have photos to share soon! This week’s inspiration is all about gorgeous neutral style (which we didn’t even realize until we had put it all together!), so jump in and enjoy!
We might have thought that an entirely stainless-steel kitchen would feel cold, but something about this one is just right. French firm Festen Architecture created a custom kitchen with Abimis, and it turned into a perfect complement to this light and airy loft. Thoughtful details (like rounded edges on doors that are easier to clean, an oversized sink, and ergonomically designed island) make the room not only beautiful, but incredibly useful for a young family. And (bonus!) stainless steel may just be the holy grail of countertops: it’s heat-resistant, hygienic, and won’t stain or rust.
Gwen Stefani’s Beverly Hills home looks exactly like you think it would. And that’s a great thing. The 12,000 s.f. space is bold, graphic, colorful, and incredibly glam. The multiple marble fireplaces are real showstoppers, but our very favorite moment is that stunning black and white kitchen.
We love our wrap-around sofa, but this apartment takes it to the NEXT LEVEL. The whole apartment is so breezy and peaceful, it looks like such a chill place to hang out- all we’d do is add a few colorful pillows from Arianna Belle to bring a little punch to that living room.
If you’re near the Franklin, Tennessee area, you can stop by the House for Hope to get a dose of eye candy while doing a little philanthropy. 15 designers teamed up to decorate this dream home, and 100% of the proceeds are given to local children’s charities. While there are a ton of special moments in this dream home, our favorite space is the living room: it’s the perfect mix of casual and glam.
Great Before-and-After Alert! Christina proved that a few simple changes can make a huge difference in her fantastic bedroom transformation. The combo of bold black walls, light airy drapes, and crisp beadboard with pops of greenery is just so great. We love her simple solution for a poorly placed light fixture- get a chandelier with a long chain and just swag that bad boy to a better spot!
